A partnership of Bell Let's Talk, the Danbe Foundation, Ottawa-Gatineau Youth Foundation, and the Youth Services Bureau (YSB) of Ottawa, the Youth Hub will help youth transition out of homelessness and into supportive housing. YSB and community partners (including the Royal Ottawa Hospital, South East Ottawa Community Health Centre, Canadian Mental Health Association Ottawa Branch) will offer integrated programs and services on the ground floor as part of an innovative Youth Hub model at the newly constructed YSB Youth Housing Hub. This comprehensive, wrap-around programming is required to stabilize and support youth as they transition into adulthood. The Youth Hub will be focused on responding to youth needs and will offer existing YSB programs and services as well as that of its community partners. This will provide youth residents and other in the community with support in mental health, substance abuse, housing, employment, education, primary care, and peer navigation.

“We know that youth homelessness is complex and, without intervention, can lead to lifelong homelessness. This building represents so much more than a safe home, it will also offer youth programs and services - through the main floor Youth Hub - to help them prepare for an independent adulthood. We're grateful for our Youth Hub partners - the Ottawa-Gatineau Youth Foundation, Bell Let's Talk and the Danbe Foundation - who will help make our services available to youth onsite and in the community.”
