COMMUNITY RINKs (Recreational Investments in Neighbourhoods for Kids) are outdoor recreational facilities that provide year-round activities and programs within Ottawa, Gatineau and other communities across the region. In partnership with the City of Ottawa, Ville de Gatineau and other municipalities, the Ottawa-Gatineau Youth Foundation is expanding the traditional program offerings and adding new activities that attract more kids to year-round outdoor play and exposing young people to new sporting and physical activities. The Ottawa-Gatineau Youth Foundation in partnership with the NHL, NHLPA, City of Ottawa, Ville de Gatineau, Fondation 24h Tremblant and Ringside for Youth officially opened the 14th and 15th SENS RINK facilities in the Ottawa-Gatineau area.

“Our partnership with the Ottawa-Gatineau community has been ongoing for more than a decade. Together with our event sponsors, participants and donors we have invested more than $4 million in the National Capital Region resulting in thousands of life-changing opportunities for deserving kids.”
